Mag Catch Hardware Kit for AK47, Saiga Rifle, VEPR Rifle.

Works with most AK47 Mag Catch products, including your factory Mag catch.

Spring sold separately.

Instructions:
1. Insert the Mag catch and catch spring into place and bend the spring into tension. Use the dowel pin to hold the spring in place as it is being compressed.
2. Line up the Mag catch so the holes are properly aligned with the holes in the tower and the catch spring is under full tension.
3. Insert the rivet through the catch tower and through the holes in the catch while pushing the dowel pin out the other side.
4. Once the rivet is completely installed, you can secure it in place. Install the lock washer and screw (thread locker recommended).

The screw type rivet is much much better now.  The previous rivet was wearing out and getting all messed up.  And going loose every time I took to range.  Now, it's solid, and locked in.  Hasn't came undone.  I bought 2 or 3.

Better than dealing with the rivet and peening it.  Hopefully it holds up as well as a rivet.  I added a drop of blue Loctite to the threads.  I think it’ll hold.
