TWS #33318 Saiga 12 Top Cover Rail

Works SAIGA 12 Shotguns and the new Kalashnikov USA KS-12. Does not fit Saiga 20, Saiga 410 and VEPRs.

NOTE: Major Gunsmithing requird for installation on LYNX-12.


Texas Weapon Systems Dog Leg™ introduces the popular rail for the Saiga 12. This latest iteration of the proven TWS product line offers greater levels of functionality, modularity, and durability. Chief among these important features is the quick detach top cover. The front hinge utilizes a robust AR-15 type takedown pin for conventional flip up opening or quick detach. The top cover allows you to mount optics on your dust cover.

The top cover has a mounting bracket that attaches in the rear sight dovetail. Requires removal of the factory rear sight post.

fits on my saiga 20
had to adjust the spring guard a little but bolt cycles just fine, fits in sight slot .. tilts up etc..

Incorrect
This does not work on the KS 12 shotgun. The dovetail hinge is incompatible it's loose fitting will not tighten

heavy modification
will not fit sds lynx 12 without modification to the recoil spring. if you are not a gunsmith I highly recommend bringing the part and firearm to one for installation.
