I got this receiver in at the FFL and was surprised to say the least. The rivets on the trigger guard were smeared on both the outside and inside. Tool marks could be seen on the receiver which I don’t really care about because I will put a finish on it one day. What really got me was where the holes were cut for the rear trunnion and side rail. These were out of alignment and I’ll now need to refill them and re-drill them. I think I saw this brand of receiver for less than half the price elsewhere as gunsmith specials and I’m not sure why this wasn’t sold as just that.

The DDI reciever is probably the 4th thing I bought from css, ddi has an iffy track record at best but for as cheap and quick as they got it to me I couldn't not take the gamble. I picked up the reciever checked it with my trunnions and all was perfect. If these guys sold more AK stuff I'd totally buy it
