TAT-Thread Alignment Tool is a self centering tool to ensure that the threads are done correctly using the barrel as a guide for the first 3-4 full threads
the same with the pilot and the rest of the items I got from yall. it works. Just with the parts that go into the barrel were a bit longer to be better centered.

The tools I received as a single kit are excellent and rare items to be used by gunsmiths in general. They are available where complete die and tap kits do NOT supply the dies supplied by Carolina Shooters. Great products for a reasonable price!
