The RAM S12XC (Saiga 12 Extended Magazine Catch) is a drop-in extended magazine release for Saiga 12 shotguns that have had the trigger moved forward. This magazine catch is precision lasercut from 16 gauge sheet metal and then formed in a state of the art facility. It is then deburred and coated in a durable black powder coat.
To use on the Vepr 12 you will need remove a small amount of material from the top edge to match the factory magazine catch. Use factory catch as your template.
Must be modified to use on Cheetah / DDI. Use factory catch as a template.
Not made for Catamount but it will fit. You must use the factory roll pin.
Okay so this thing is amazing. The only downside is that it is an absolute pain to install. If you do not have a punch set you will not be able to do this yourself. This piece doesn't come with a new spring. You will however get an installation pin with it that gives you little room for error. This is mostly hard because you will be fighting your mag release spring while pressing out one pin with

Fits on KS-12. Quick, easy magazine release.
Fits perfect on my KS12T. If your only using the factory box magazines, then you wont have to file the catch tongue that locks with rear tab of magazine. I have a 20rd promag and had to file down about 1/16 to accommodate the drum tab. Other than that it works perfectly and locks all my magazine in place to cycle the rounds. Does what it's supposed to - lets me drop the mag without adjusting my grip.Filing it to shape was pretty easy with a dremel, but reinstalling it was pretty miserable(compressing the spring, not losing the pin, etc).
