These are the rear load style AK-47 100 round Drummagazines. The rear loaders are the most popular for a couple of reasons. Theyare based on the original Chinese military design and function and feedflawlessly. Also, unlike other drums that are cumbersome to load due to havingto be fed from the top one at a time, these drums load quickly. Open the rearcover and drop the rounds in. They can also be stored fully loaded with nopressure on the springs, then, when you are ready to use it, wind the springusing the winding key, snap it in the rifle, and you are prepared to go.
These will work in your Saiga and Vepr 7.62 if you install a Bullet Guide and remove a small amount of material from the top of the magazine catch on your rifle.
