The AKM receiver is manufactured from high-grade C-45 steel (1 mm thick) using press forming and CNC milling processes that meet strict quality standards. In the production process the receiver undergoes vibro-abrasive machining. Anti-corrosion treatment is applied to the complete component. The entire process complies with the AQAP 2110:2016 standard, in accordance with NATO procedures.
