The AK Master Mount™ optic mounts are unique and purposebuilt products for serious AK users. They are built as rugged as the AK rifleitself. It is machined from solid 6061 aluminum and finished with blackhardcoat (type III) anodizing for superior strength, but yet be weightconscious. Made in the USA.
The optic mount's one piece design keeps things simple andprovides structural integrity. Its low profile hugs the side of the AK receiverand the dust cover to deliver a low axis over bore placement. It has aheavy-duty lever that is fully inset into the body of the optic mount toprotect it from snags. It is true quick release, and it easily adjusts to differentwidth AK side rails.
The Dual Axis Locking feature maintains optic zero bypreventing any movement on the AK’s side rail during sustained shooting. Itsrobust struts support its “2 in 1” top rail design that can accommodate opticswith either a picatinny base or an ACOG base without needing an adapter.
It comes in two main versions (1) AKM version which is forthe "standard AK pattern" side rail (NOT a Yugo pattern factory siderail OR Century Arms™ proprietary version side rail, but will fit a CenturyArms™ standard AK side rail). The AKM version optic mount comes in two styles:A "Rear Biased" top rail version and a "Full Length" toprail version. (2) YUGO version that fits the factory Yugo side rail and is onlyin a full length top rail version.
