Riley Defense is now offering a Krink series of firearms chambered in 7.62x39 semi auto. This kit has only needs the receiver to be 100% complete. Please note if built as a rifle it would require a SBR permit or built with a barrel extension to bring it up to the required 16 inch barrel length. These rifles are a copy of the Iconic AKS-74U rifles adopted by the Soviet Military in 1979 and produced by Izmash & Tula arsenals. The Krinkov (AKA the Krink = Western Name) originated from the Mujahideen fighting Russia in Afghanistan. These rifles were fielded primarily by airborne and armored vehicle teams due to the design's compact nature. The AKS-74Us were highly coveted rifles during the Afghanistan-Russian war and can still be seen in use today by various different militaries around the world. Now shooters and collectors in the US can own one of these famous firearms in a semi auto configuration. The folding rear stock trunnion and hinge allows easy stock installation after you have your NFA SBR permit approved. Riley will be offering these in several different calibers and models in the future.
GUNSMITH NOTE: These are virgin parts kits, these parts will need gunsmithing as you build out your rifle. As with any AKM build these parts need milling, reaming, filing etc to fit as they are assembled.
