It has fallen over twice with my Eo-tech 552 on it and hit on the optic and it still shot the same zero at 100 yards......people get to caught up in the 'what ifs' with these things. For a red dot or even a magnifier combo I say buy one. I use my rifles hard and I've never had a problem. Word round the campfire is special Russian units use them also with great success.......Larry Vickers even has it on video from when he saw some  guns tricked out over there a few years back.....
