Your AK needs this release! |

This is an excellent upgrade to your AK. You can use your trigger finger easily to release the mag, or still use your off hand to release it with your thumb (with extra leverage from the extension vs. stock). If you do install this, there is a very simple method for filing down the release to match your AK. Use an old metal mag (or poly if you don't have one) that you know feeds reliably. Before you take off the stock mag release, place the mag in the gun and score the mag with a scribe along the bottom edge of the receiver. (Preferably done with a full mag hanging vertically, but this is not that critical). Use the line you scored on this same magazine when filing down the contact point between the new CSS release and the magazine to match the contact point of the stock mag release when compared to where it sits in the receiver.
