way too tight for Saiga barrel March 8, 2024 Reviewer: Peter T from MN   With the price of Russian parts these days CSS is very appealing.  This gas block was WAY too tight to be pressed on my Saiga 7.62.  I tried anyway as this product is specifically marketed for this application and now my only option is to cut it off.  I reached out to CSS before leaving this review but Its been a week and I have not received a response.  Buy once cry once I guess, should have bought the proper gas block to begin with. Ak 90 ° gas port October 5, 2023 Reviewer: A.k.scott ( fla) from Tequesta, FL United States   Bayonet lug way over sized,( you won't get a Bayonet on it)  the length of the port where gas rod inserts is too short, requiring a longer gas tube in addition to haveing moved gas block closer to rear sight base. If I continued to move block closer to rear sight tower ( to use my original tube) the gas port would have ben covered up completely. Once again Americans cannot make ak parts or ak's to save their lives. Was this review helpful to you?

Undersized gas block journal May 21, 2023 Reviewer: NorincoJ from Cape Coral , FL United States   Like other reviewers posted this definitely has an undersized barrel journal. It’s .587. This company should ream these out to the correct size or update the description. The bayonet lug is also oversized and needs a good amount of filing to fit a bayonet. No AK-74 from any country uses this dimension.  This part would work to cut off the bayonet lug and weld it onto a good chrome lined Bulgarian block which had its removed.
