2 of 5 Undersized gas block journal May 21, 2023
Reviewer: NorincoJ from Cape Coral , FL United States
Like other reviewers posted this definitely has an undersized barrel journal. It’s .587. This company should ream these out to the correct size or update the description. The bayonet lug is also oversized and needs a good amount of filing to fit a bayonet. No AK-74 from any country uses this dimension.  This part would work to cut off the bayonet lug and weld it onto a good chrome lined Bulgarian block which had its removed.

5 of 5 Replacement Gas Block. October 18, 2022
Reviewer: James Woosley from Wasilla, AK United States
The AK replacement parts look just like the real deal. My gas block was undersized just enough for a good fit with just a little bit of work. I would definitely buy these parts again.

4 of 5 AK74 Gas Block August 17, 2022
Reviewer: Derric Trevino from Rio Grande City, TX United States
Part required fitting to the barrel I was using, but other than that it's a great product.  Very fortunate to have CSS providing these components now that imports are impossible to locate.

A great product from an amazing online retailer. Fast shipping and as noted reached me within 3 business days. The quality of the part is superb and for the competitive price that Carolina Shooter Supply offers it was an easy purchase for me. Thank you again and thank you for providing a wide selection of parts!

2 of 5 Got it for a tantal inspired build, ended badly December 30, 2021
Reviewer: Anonymous Person from KINGSBURG, CA United States
Internal ID not entirely finished, only one round through, still very cast finished on the inside. Was a horrible mistake to attempt to install onto an AKM profile barrel, and a horrible time taking it off. Internal fractures on the rear end of the gas block

4 of 5 Looks great on my WASR3 December 21, 2021
Reviewer: Andrew Sayers from glendale, AZ United States
the price was awesome. spent 45 mins sanding the bayo lug for it to fit a Russian bayonet. I thought the job would be simple  to unpin front sight and old gas block and swap out the new one but this 90°one was extremely tight and ever so slightly bent my barrel when trying to press it on. So I hat to take it of and sand the inside and that didn't work so I completely removed barrel and all barrel parts. Here's what I did
-put my barrel on the lathe to shave off an extra 1/4 inch because 90° blocks sit farther back. Weld old gas hole on barrel and redrill a new one farther back.
Bent the barrel back to strait as much as humanly possible basically undetectable. Reassembled everything. And reblued all my parts. Looks fricken awesome. It was alot of work but if you have the right tools. Not sure if the wasr3 barrel was slightly different than the specs of this gas block. Upside to this project was A PRETTY GAS BLOCK and NEW SMALLER GAS HOLE DRILLED FOR MORE GENTLE EJECTION
