The build quality is acceptable. The treads tolerances were so loose that it required a thread filler to keep it from backing off when in use. Another option to correct the loose fit is to pin it.

I bought one of these brakes because I love it on my AKM.... It looks absolutely beautiful and functions great on my Yugoslavian M 72... The bluing matches the stock finish beautifully!
