4 of 5 Cool mount, OK fit... December 4, 2023
Reviewer: Bazooka Joe from Binghamton, NY United States
Getting my rear sight off my Saiga took a bit of persuading, the new dovetail fit well. The center threads on the mount weren't cut fully, I had to chase them with a tap. Cleaned all threads with brake cleaner and secured with blue LocTite.

Used the two set screws to set the tilt but noticed the rail was not parallel with my barrel, was off to the right a noticeable amount. I was able to run my red dot almost fully to the right and able to get it sighted.

Overall it is a unique mount, I would give 4 stars as long as it keeps zero.

2 of 5 Does not fit Lynx-12 April 10, 2023
Reviewer: Lynx-dude from TX United States
The dovetail insert is too small for a Lynx-12 rear dovetail sight. Apparently the Saiga-12 rear sight dovetail is much smaller than the Lynx-12. If you try to use this on a lynx you will either need to shim it in place, or weld it in place per CSS guidance. The screw heads are HEX for some reason (why?!?!?!) and the hex size is extremely small. This kit did not come with an hex key either. The level adjusting screws look like they are going to either break or bend the rail in order to level any optic but I haven't tested it. I don't feel like this is going to hold up forever but that remains to be seen, I haven't shot with it on yet. The rail material seems sturdy and has a great finish.
Finish 5/5
Hex screws 0/5 (really!?)
Level-adjust screws 2/5
Does not come with tiny hex key 0/5

Product is probably OK with a saiga but if you have a lynx...don't. Love CSS products but this one falls well short of awesome for me. Feels like I wasted 50 bucks. Would not recommend.
